Seeing the MTV Music Awards, right in the heart of America land, the global index and template of civilization, lifestyle, culture and what-have-you for punggok (short) brownies like the mixed up schizophrenically confused Filipino nation--I keep wondering where we (if our generation lives long) and hyper-driven-for- success younger generations will end up aside from worsening illusions of special missions in life to be great and just simply great.
Everything great has to be grand. Especially for the glitter-obsessed blacks, whites-whanna-be-blacks, blacks-slowly-becoming whites hip rap artists.
One great thing about the show was that Pink, the trannie-like innovator of the stupid girl video, won for best pop video. Another was Al Gore burping his own stuff on climate change. Kahit papaano, these two were winners.

Concert for Eve September 12
Love is all about respect and tolerance.
Discrimination sucks.
Here is Eve-olution Concert 2006! click>>
Something from the organizers:
"Eve-olution is a play on the words Eve, evolution and revolution. The intention is to project the image of the woman as continually evolving, and simultaneously, of the woman being at the forefront of the gender “revolution”. The Eve-olution (Celebrating Women) concert intends to establish a fund for women’s causes (and for this year the beneficiaries will be women living with HIV/AIDS and survivors of violence against women), as well as to provide a creative venue for projecting women’s issues and concerns. Women’s groups can explore the possibility of Eve-olution being an annual activity to carry out these objectives. "
"The premiere of Eve-olution this year celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Philippines’ ratification of the U.N. Convention for the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW). The concert will therefore particularly highlight the gains that women have achieved to date and the challenges that women continue to face today. The concert mood shall be generally celebratory. Still, the concert will feature songs, dances, poems and videos performed by various artists and performers conveying messages related to women’s causes, such as: Equality between men and women benefits all; Women’s rights are human rights; and Women, organize... Exercise our rights! "
